At the drug store or supermarket you’re going to be spending 10 times what you can get it on amazon for. Pick up a bunch in advance and never worry again.

…of being sick and tired! The past 12 months have been yucky. Starting February 2009 many kids at the high school were out sick with “some weird virus” that knocked them out for 3 days at a clip AND then hung on. So they’d get better, go back to school and relapse and/or catch something else. Of course, the illnesses would be passed around the family and we’d pass it on at work or catch something there. This cycle was repeated so many times this past year I can’t even count.
This started *BEFORE* THE SWINE FLU was identified and schools were closed due to high absences. The doctors were saying there really was nothing they could do except help you ride out the symptoms AND watch for lung complications. So we were on our own, as far as I was concerned. We have practically lived on:
1.Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Severe, Daytime Non-Drowsy, 24-Count Cool Burst Caplets (Pack of 3),
2.Member’s Mark – Night Time, Multi-Symptom Cold/Flu Relief, Cherry Flavor, 36 oz (Compare to NyQuil),
3.Kirkland Signature Mucus Relief Chest Guaifenesin 400 mg Expectorant – 400 Immediate Release Tablets (2 Pack)
EVERYONE got Tylenol Daytime Non-Drowsy each morning with another dose to take at work or school, the Night-Time meds practically as soon as dinner and homework was complete. Only those who had a lingering cough that settled in the chest got the Chest Mucus Relief until it cleared up.
Add to that the weird weather, healthcare costs we’ve had and it all makes for an interesting year. Thank goodness for Amazon and the availability of meds at quantities and prices we can afford. One less trip to the drug store with folks hacking spreading the next batch of who knows what!
